Just when you think that they’ve run out of ideas…

There are two really noteworthy things that I’m going to talk about today. The first one you can buy wow account to access, the second you can’t. Both of them are way too important to not mention.

The first is the new content that they dropped with the 3.3.5 patch. They’ve opened up a brand new raid dungeon for us to play around in. The official details are a little sparse right now, but the new area is called the Ruby Sanctum, and it promises wonderous riches to all who would brave its dangers. The story is pretty cool, too. Basically, the red dragonflight was in charge of a sort of UN of dragons, keeping the peace, and trying to preserve life in Azeroth. Suddenly, the Ruby Sanctum, their headquarters, is completely silent and no one has been able to contact them via any means. Guardposts are empty, and the hearth fires have died out. Just what waits inside is still a bit of a mystery, but it’s going to be more than worth the while to play it through. After all, the fate of the last clutch of red dragon eggs hangs in the balance inside, and we all know that where there’s dragons, there’s treasure.

The second big piece of news is that the Cataclysm beta has gone live! Obviously it wouldn’t be wise to buy an account then attempt to get in on it, but it would be seriously cool to get in on the next chapter of WoW before retail release. Actually, it’s impossible to get in on it unless you get an invite from Blizzard themselves. It’s opt-in only, and you don’t get to pick. Here’s hoping that some of my faithful readers get the notice and can jump in. Post a comment if there’s any inside info that you can share with me! I know, NDAs are a bear, but there have to some ways to get a little bit of info out.

Anyway, if you don’t have a level 80 yet, now may be the time to buy wow account so that you’re ready both for the content already launched, and for the good things to come. The end of a world doesn’t come along every day, after all. You don’t want to miss out when it hits.

WoW News: Breaking New Records

28th December 2008

Howdy gamers,

I don’t know about you but I had a wonderful Christmas, with lots of family and friend and delicious food–I even did some of the cooking! As a result, however, I haven’t gotten my lazy self around to reviewing a new gold site for this week. So I’m going to give you something almost as good, which is an excuse to celebrate some more (hey, you gotta find something to raise your glass to between now and New Year’s, right?)

As you may have guessed from the headline, the big news in the WoW world these days is the milestone of 11.5 million subscribers. Not only has WOTLK surpassed anyone’s expectations, selling over 4 million copies in the first month (!) but people are still signing up to play the game for the first time in astounding numbers. It’s especially impressive when you consider that overall this holiday season people spent way less money due to the shaky economy. I bet there are some Blizzard employees enjoying a nice Christmas bonus as we speak! Incredibly enough, a spokesman for the game says that the base package for new subscribers is actually doing better than it was this time last year.

I think that’s reason enough to celebrate, don’t you? Thanks for reading and stay tuned next week for reviews of the best places to buy WoW account safely!
