You all know what I’m talking about. This new content, the Ruby Sanctum, includes plenty of references to ol’ Deathwing and his twilight brood. And if you’ve been reading the website as frequently as I do, you’ll know that Deathwing himself features prominently in Cataclysm.

That, of course is the word on every WoW player’s lips right now. They’ve already started beta testing the thing, which means that a release date announcement can’t be too far behind. If you need a reason to buy wow account, there you have it.

Of course, when you’re a major player like Blizzard who runs their own convention, you have the leisure of waiting until said con to dish the info. Based on the new content and timing, I’d say that this Blizzcon will see the announcement of the release date. Furthermore, I figure we’re looking at sometime before Black Friday for the release.

The devs, if they’re like any other programmers or content writers that I’ve met, don’t really care when it releases, just so long as their baby is out and running. The bean counters are another matter. They aren’t interested in the eager panting of the fans, et cetera. They’re looking for the thing to have the biggest financial impact, and in the world of video games, that means holiday season.

People are always a little flush with money that they’ve been saving for the holidays, and they know what’s on evey WoW player’s list this year. Or will be if it’s announced. Just like when SC2 was released this week, they see just how many people will line up to buy it in stores and download it, no matter the cost.

Of course, we’d do this if they released the stupid thing in May, too. These guys have 11 million people hooked harder than crack cocaine ever could hope to. I’m just not sure why they think they’ll maximize on it if they wait. We’ll pay no matter when it comes out. Period.

But the good news is this means you have plenty of time to buy wow account so that you’re ready. The level cap is being raised, and you’ll be that much closer to 85 if you’re starting at 80. Plus we all know prices will spike around release time, so it’s better to buy wow account and then hold it in reserve until you’re ready. That way you’ll at least have it.
