An update with reasons to buy a new account
21st April 2010
Hey out there. I’m happy to say that I have better news this time around. No more gloomy, at least for now.
As we all know the newest patch went live a few weeks ago, and 3.3.3 is making a huge difference in the PVP world. One major change is the reward for honorable kills. I’m all about these, myself, and now that the honor bonus has been bumped to 200% I’m really stoked.
The other thing that will affect anyone looking to buy wow account is the new Random battlegrounds option in PvP. It’s restricted to level 80, which means your trusty 75 DPS won’t make the cut, but if you pick up a new account you’ll have a great time of it. Basically, you get in the queue and when your group comes up, you get dropped into a completely random field (like the name implies). This means no time to prep or plan a strategy, you just go in as is and hope for the best. The real upside is that you get some serious bonuses if you take on the randomness. I haven’t had the pleasure yet, but I’m looking forward to the chance.
The other changes were all pretty minor. Ranges for buffs have been increased to 100 yards, which is a nice little change for those parties that get spread out (like mine usually do). They’ve also tweaked some of the powers and boss abilities for balance purposes. Same old, same old.
Another great piece of news is that they’ve opened up the registration for the Arena Tournament. There’s an exclusive title for the winner(s), and a neat pet you can win, too. The qualifier should be later this month, but they may have to move it out a little depending.
Of course, your bought accounts don’t do you any good here since you make a level 80 at the time, but it’s still a good romp.
Now, the best news is that the announcements haven’t had much of an effect on account prices. Even so, I have to recommend that you stick with safe sites that you know, like Toonstorm since there will be a lot of scam sites that crop up.
Take it easy and keep safe out there
